The traditional cycle of presentation of the new iPhones may soon experience a significant break. In a strategic change, Apple would prepare to upset its usual launching calendar. According to information from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, confirmed by the specialized site The Information, the Apple brand would abandon the simultaneous release of all its iPhone models in the fall, a tradition established since the launch of the iPhone 4S in 2011.
Thus, 2025 would be the last year when all the models of the new generation (the iPhone 17, the iPhone 17 Pro, the iPhone 17 Pro Max and the iPhone 17 Slim) would be revealed at the same time, probably in September, as desired.
But this diagram would change in 2026. The more accessible model, the iPhone 17th, should be launched in the spring, a year after the iPhone 16th. Then, only the high -end models, namely the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, iPhone 18 Slim, as well as the very first folding iPhone would be marketed in September, indicates the specialized site. The basic model, the iPhone 18, would see its release repelled in spring 2027, at the same time as that of the iPhone 18th.
This change should allow Apple to better distribute its launches in the year and strengthen its position in the face of competition.
