The Samsung Galaxy A06 in 4G version was unveiled in August 2024. It is an entry -level smartphone from the Korean brand, mainly present on the Vietnamese market. Here, there is talk of the international version, compatible with all operators in France. It succeeds the A05 version and was followed by an A06 5G version with a different processor, the Dimensity 6300. There, the 4G model with a Helio G85 is at -20 % and goes below 100 euros.

With the Samsung Galaxy A06 4G, the Korean brand offers an entry -level smartphone. Technically, it takes up a lot from the previous model, the Galaxy A05. You find there the Mediatek Helio G85 4G chip, engraved in 12 Nm, here with 4 GB of RAM and a storage memory of 64 GB. If you ever find it too little, there is a microSD port available on this model, which is the prerogative of entry -level smartphones while it disappears on premium models.
The 5,000 mAh battery is 25 W fast load compatible, which is clearly not up to more powerful models. But we must remember that here, we are on a smartphone within 100 euros. In conventional use, you can easily hold a good day, or even two if you are not too much on it. Another common point with the Galaxy A05: the photo block with a main sensor of 50 Mpx and a 2 MP depth sensor, as well as an 8 MP module for selfies.
The Samsung Galaxy A06 4G reserves some surprises
Despite the common points, its existence is justified by a few new features. Starting with the 6.7 -inch LCD screen which displays Full HD+, corresponding to 720 x 1600 pixels and above all a refresh frequency which rises to 90 Hz. Another novelty, already reported a little higher, is the appearance of a fingerprint sensor on the ignition button, which allows you to secure access to your phone.
It is the same weight as the A05, 189 g, but it is more compact and especially finer: the Galaxy A06 is 167.3 x 77.3 x 8 mm against 168.8 x 78.2 x 8.8 mm. Thus, it holds well in hand and you can handle it easily, both vertically and horizontally. It is therefore a small smartphone with a configuration in adequacy with its price which allows to make the main tasks of the everyday, especially since it will be updated for 4 years for the security patches, and 2 years for future versions of the bone.
