One more! A fitness room should soon open on the ground floor of the post office building, in the Delémont station sector. The yellow giant indicates that it has rented an area of around 1000 m². The brand, which was not afraid to rub shoulders with the competition of the Physic Club, established with a stone throw, should open in September. We do not know any more.
The commercial ground floor of this large complex inaugurated with great fanfare in 2022, therefore ended up filling up. Gradually. Another area of 100 m² has also just been rented by a company in the tertiary sector, informs Corinne Tschanz, La Poste spokesperson for French-speaking Switzerland.
Bikes “waiting”
But the whole commercial area is far not yet occupied. About 2,000 m² still remain to be filled. There is of course the very large area occupied by the most famous sellers of courtyard cycles. It has been since their arrival that we wonder if a workshop, some furniture and staff will one day come to accompany bikes proper in this luxury window. The answer provided by Stéphane Joliat, the boss, is clear: no.
This is an agreement reached with the Post Office to occupy the space while everything is rented. And the least we can write is that the advertising was successful. “It caused the boss to be caused, we smiled the boss. We had a lot of people who called us to ask ourselves when we opened.”
For his part, Corinne Tschanz assures that this ground floor arouses interest. “We have regular exchanges with people who are prospecting, but it is not possible for the moment to say more,” she said.
Everything has in any case been done to arouse this interest: a handful of seats 15 minutes have recently been deleted along the building to put an area reserved for delivery trucks.
An experienced observer points the high price of surfaces and their lack of practicality. At the discharge of the yellow giant, the one who is currently looking for a commercial area in Delémont has more than the embarrassment of choice.
And above, what about housing? Some tenants regret not being able to sleep the window open during the summer season, the fault of the buses that pass just under early in the morning until late in the evening.
Others retort that we are done over time and that the apartments which are oriented towards the interior courtyard are spared by the problem. Nevertheless, everything displays a nice filling rate. Only five apartments out of the 89 available for rental are empty, which represents a 94%filling rate, is delighted Corinne Tschanz.
The parking lot does not get so bad either when it is true that the relatively high prices postpone certain users. Of the 151 rental places, 117 found takers, a rate of 77%.

As long as we are there, let’s take news from the ticle, a construction also recent and whose housing had undergone a flood of criticism from tenants. Nonante out of 108 apartments are rented, and 72 parking spaces out of 130. Commercial level, two areas remain for rent for a total of 473 square meters.
