FIFA has received candidacy agreements for member associations for the organization of 2031 and 2035 editions of the Women’s World Cup.

  • The States Football Federation has an application for the 2031 edition

  • The , North-Irish, Scottish and Welsh federations have submitted a joint file for the FIFA 2035 ™ Women’s World Cup

  • FIFA will conduct an in -depth application procedure before the hosts are appointed

In accordance with the deadlines set by the candidacy procedures for the organization of editions 2031 and 2035 of the FIFA ™ Women’s World Cup, FIFA received the application agreements for the following member associations:

FIFA Women’s World Cup 2031 ™

  • The Football Federation of the United States has confirmed its interest for the submission of a joint candidacy with other associations members of the Concacaf (to be confirmed in good time)

FIFA Women’s World Cup 2035 ™

  • The English Football Federation, the North Irish Football Federation, the Scottish Football Federation and the Welsh Football Federation

The candidacy agreement provides associations on information on the structure and content of the candidacy file, as well as on the documents which must be transmitted, while guaranteeing compliance with the fundamental principles of the application procedure: objectivity, transparency, integrity and commitment to human and sustainable event management.

Following a most exhaustive evaluation procedure, FIFA will publish its evaluation reports and, if the requirements are met, FIFA member associations gathered in Congress will decide hosts of the concerned in the second quarter of 2026.
