The vibrant supporters of the Canadian applauded so hard that they almost shattered the sound wall. For once, it was the players who followed the reactions of the supporters by spontaneously rising on the players’ bench and some were seen joining the enthusiasm of the supporters to celebrate the goal scored by Jake Evans in a deserted net. They were no longer in the “mix”, but in the series.
After the match, I met the two training architects, Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton, who were proud of Martin St-Louis and players because they had accomplished something against all odds, participation in series.
