It is immense pride for me to be the first Arab woman to obtain the license of FIFA football agent, among many others around the world. FIFA has, for several years, set up major initiatives aimed at structuring this profession, giving rise to a profound change in the selection process. Obtaining this distinction represents, for me, a great way to start my retraining for the accompaniment of athletes with a look enlightened by my field experience.
But one thing remained constant: I never agreed to sacrifice the sport that I chose at the age of 14. Football was not only a passion, it was a promise that I made myself very young, that of always honoring this dream, regardless of circumstances. Thus, after obtaining my university degree, I made a commitment to devote myself, entirely, to my professional sports career, but I was able to combine with my business course during my free time.
By advancing in my career, as a footballer, I realized my desire to remain active there. Several of my clubs and coaches encouraged me to pass my coach license. I seriously thought about it, and I ended up realizing that the profession of agent is particularly close to my heart.
Over time, through the questions of my teammates about investment, career choices or the management of their professional and personal life, I started to say to myself: what if I dedicated to the support of athletes in their journey? The more I approached the end of my player career, the more this idea took meaning. It has become a natural choice: capitalize on both my experience in the field and on my business baggage to support athletes.
