The young Biterrois footballer continues to go up to the other side of the English Channel.
You have been chosen this week by the sports daily the team to be part of the typical team of French players playing abroad. What inspires you?
Lots of fun! Especially when you see the other names and logos present in this selection. The team is a worldwide worldwide newspaper, I am really very happy.
How do you live this adventure in England since your departure from Béziers in 2020?
Since I had already said some time ago, I don’t regret my choice at all. This season, I have already played 42 games and the only thing I can say is that I fully flourish. I really couldn’t hope for better.
What is the most impressive in this new environment?
I would say the culture and love of football that the English have, it’s really crazy. I had the chance to play in League One (D3), in Championship (D2) and even to do benches in the Premier League (D1). It’s just incredible to live these moments. All the stadiums are full, you can find yourself playing in League One in front of more than 30,000 people. England is a real football country, it’s magic to live.
Beyond sport, you have also discovered a new culture.
-Quite. I have been in England for four and a half years now, I got used to customs and language. Today, even when I go on vacation, I can speak with people (laughs). More seriously, it is very enriching to have such an experience.
Even if you imagine that the weather should change you!
Today (Tuesday), it’s raining! But we get out of a very beautiful month, I cannot say as much about the time I had in the south when I returned a few weeks ago (laughs). But it is true that throughout the year, the climate is very different. You have to get used to it.

What can you wish for the future?
The premier League, quite simply. I had the chance to do benches in City or Liverpool. When you taste that, you necessarily want to relive it. It’s another world, the dream of all footballers.
Despite the distance, have you stayed close to Béziers?
Obviously. I am Biterrois, I still have my whole family and friends in the south. I come back as soon as I can, it’s always a pleasure to go back to Béziers. Especially summer after the long and intense seasons that we live in England.
The love of football among the Crama
Among the Crama, football has always been a family story.
