During a meeting with activists at Keur Massar, Waly Diouf Bodian delivered significant statements. He said he did not wish to become Minister of Justice or the Interior, believing that those currently in place fulfill their functions. However, he added with irony that such a appointment would encourage all the members of the Alliance for the Republic (APR) to leave the country.
He also pleaded for severe measures against employees who have become billionaires, emphasizing the idea that they should be arrested and imprisoned. According to him, the National Assembly should take measures to eliminate OFNAC. Indeed, Bodian expressed his skepticism about the will of Serigne Bassirou to prosecute members of the APR, thus evoking a climate of impunity.
Waly Diouf Bodian warned the risks that runs the regime in place if it does not undertake a real hunt for faults until the 1920s or 2029. According to his words reported by our colleagues from South Daily, not acting quickly could compromise their ambition to stay in power for 10, 15 or even 50 years.
