He insisted on “the importance of rigorous monitoring of its implementation”, calling for the rapid development of texts relating to the bodies responsible for executing it, as well as the presentation of “reform projects in the educational sector”.
On the modernization of the administration, Ousmane Sonko underlined “the urgency of the digitalization of administrative procedures”, to be completed in 2025. This includes the reform of the career management of civil servants and an “accelerated legal revision in the health sector”.
Regarding the civic service, he emphasized a new approach, with a structured program to “promote the involvement of young people in missions of general interest” and direct them to “successful socio-professional integration”.
He finally announced the strengthening of this program during school holidays, with the imminent launch of the “Sétal Sunu Rèew Ak Koom Koom” program, which aims to “maximize the economic and social impact” while stimulating “active and sustainable citizen participation”.
