Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko announced, this Monday in the National Assembly, the upcoming introduction of four bills, within the framework of the plenary session dedicated to current affairs to the government.
“We are going in the direction of good governance. In the coming days, we will submit to the Assembly a set of bills: the reform of OFNAC (National Office for Fighting Fraud and Corruption), the bill for whistleblowers, another on access to information, and finally a bill on the declaration of assets, “said the head of government.
Taking advantage of his forum, Ousmane Sonko did not fail to scratch the opposition, accusing him of diverting the public debate. “There is no matter to oppose. We have made strategic choices to ensure the economic sovereignty of the country. But some prefer to plunge the debate into quarrels of people. Hatred cannot be a political engine. I am politically indestructible, “he said.
Calling on republican opposition, the leader of Pastef invited his opponents to focus on fundamental issues. “Tell us about agriculture, breeding, programs, objectives. We are open to the contradictory debate, but we will not be involved in sterile and personal debates, “he concluded.
