The Gabonese Head of State has two days after his inauguration as President of the Republic, appointed Vice-President of the Republic Séraphin Moundounga, and vice-president of the Alexandre Barro Chambrier government, while the post of Prime Minister was abolished by the new Constitution, said a statement from the Gabonese presidency made public by his secretary general, Guy Rossatanga-Drignault.
Régis Onanga Ndiaye was thus appointed by President Nguema, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, in charge of the diaspora.
Several ministers of this government are soldiers such as Ulrich Manfoumbi Manfoumbi, former spokesperson for the CTRI, who takes the transport portfolio, the merchant navy and logistics.
In La Défense, Brigitte Onkanowa retains her post and Maurice Ntossui Allogo, remains Minister of Water and Forests.

Other ministers of the transitional government have been renewed in their posts, such as Hermann Immongault, Minister of the Interior, Security and Decentralization, Mouissi Mouissi to the Environment and Climate, or Camélia Ntoutoume Leclercq in National Education.
The Head of State has appointed as Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals, in charge of human rights, Séraphin Akure Davain while Armande Longo Moulengui, is appointed Minister of Youth, Sports, Cultural Radiation and the Arts, in charge of community life.
Henri-Claude Oyima, CEO of the Gabonese Bank BGFI, was appointed Minister of Economy, Finance, Debt and Participations, responsible for the fight against dear life, replacing Mark-Alexandre Doumba who becomes Minister of Digital Economy and Innovation.

This new government team has seen the creation of a new ministry of universal access to water and energy with the head of Philippe Tonangoye.
The only woman candidate for the presidential election of April 12, Zenaba Gninga singing, was appointed Minister of Entrepreneurship, Trade and SME-PMIs.
Local and legislative elections are scheduled between the end of September and mid-October 2025 in the country. The senatorials will take place next November.
