HEM refocusing and lasalle Morocco college

Hem Business & Engineering School and the LaSalle college, members of the International Network LCI , have experienced significant expansion over the years, strengthening their presence in several regions of the kingdom and actively contributing to quality higher education in the service of thousands of students and families.

With this course, we are moving today a strategic step focused on geographic concentration and diversification of the academic offer. This development aims to consolidate our forces and better meet the current challenges of higher education.
Strategic decision

After a rigorous evaluation of the educational, organizational and economic aspects, the board of directors decided, as of January 30, 2025, to refocus the activities of HEM and the LaSalle college on the cities of Casablanca and Rabat. and Tangier campuses will continue to operate normally until the end of the university year 2024-2025, in accordance with our commitments.

Individualized support for each student

On February 8, 2025, the management met with students and their families in order to present this decision to them and the support plan implemented to a serene transition. Since then, individual and meetings have been organized in order to listen, reassure and build solutions adapted to each situation.

Three accompanying scenarios are offered:

1. Continuation of studies in Casablanca or Rabat
• Assignment of an additional grant to regional scholarships
• Support in the search for housing, in partnership with university residences or external solutions

2. Transfer to another establishment in Morocco
• Help in the choice of a new establishment
• Support in administrative and academic procedures

3. Continuation of studies abroad
• Priority access to LCI Education exchange programs
• Support in application and recommendation procedures

A new strategic CAP and university ambition

This refocusing constitutes a key step in our development in Africa. In addition, LCI Education inscribes this new orientation as part of an ambitious transformation plan aimed at developing our institutions towards university . This strategic project, under structuring, will be communicated in its details in the coming months and marks a new of academic and institutional consolidation.
