The African Football Confederation (CAF) announced disciplinary sanctions against AS Far and the Egyptian club Pyramids FC, following incidents that occurred during the quarter -rounding and return of the Champions League.
According to an official press release from the body, AS FAR was found guilty of breaches of the regulations, in particular in articles 17.1 and 17.5, for security in terms of security in its stadium, as well as for the use of lasers by its supporters.

For its part, the Egyptian club Pyramids FC was sanctioned for violations in article 24.1 relating to the organization and management of stadiums, due to a lack of control during the sale of tickets and a lack of control of its supporters in the first leg in Cairo. He will have to pay a fine of $ 15,000.
As a reminder, AS FAR was eliminated from competition in the quarter-final after a heavy 4-1 defeat on the outward journey, followed by a 2-0 victory in the return match in Rabat.
