Ivan Demidov raised the Bell Center by raising a goal and a pass in his first match in Montreal on Monday evening. Can it do it again in the series?
When we talk about a successful entrance, we can say that the young Russian player has obtained an almost perfect note for his. In 20 meetings, Caufield collected 4 goals and 8 assists for 12 points and he played on average 15 min 14 s per game. He therefore knew how to make himself essential and take responsibilities corresponding to those of a second trio player.
This is exactly where Demidov should evolve during the series that will begin in the coming days.
The difference is that Demidov brought to Montreal at the end of a season in the KHL, so it arrives with professional experience that Caufield did not.
It is therefore reasonable to think that the young man could have his say in the coming weeks and, why not, against capital and a certain Alex Ovechkin, the idol of Russian hockey.
