Thanks to a first half of the dominant match, the Maple Leafs took an advance of 1 to 0 in their second round series opposing them to the Florida Panthers thanks to a 5 to 4 victory, Monday in Toronto.
From the 33rd second of the meeting, William Nylander opened the scoring, before reiterating in the second half of commitment by taking advantage of a juicy return to launch allocated by Sergei Bobrovsky.

And even when the panthers tried to return to the match, Craig Berube’s men immediately regained control as demonstrated by Morgan Rielly 19 seconds after Seth Jones reduced the gap to 2 to 1.
Max Pacioretty, who completes the second trio of the Leafs with John Tavares and Nylander, also experienced a productive outing by raising two assistance mentions.
Bobrovsky has experienced a shocking performance, taking five goals on 29 shots. He will most certainly want to review the success scored by Chris Tanev at the start of the second period when the latter deceived his vigilance from a very good distance.
That said, the Floridian formation went there with a big push in the third period, which could have hurt the leafs. In less than three minutes at the very beginning of a commitment, Eetu Luostarinen and Uvis Balinskis sparkle the red light to reduce the gap to 4 to 3.
Fortunately for the supporters present in Scotiabank Arena, their favorites managed to stop the storm after taking a stop time. Matthew Knies even scored a superb setback with six minutes to sell in regulation time to confirm the victory of her family.
The Maple Leafs were however scared one last time after a late goal from Sam Bennett when the Florida evolved with an additional skater. It was however too little too late for the flocks of Paul Maurice.
This evening was therefore not completely perfect for Toronto, who also lost the services of goalkeeper Anthony Stolarz. Struck at the head by Bennett, the 31 -year -old athlete had to retreat to the locker room and did not return to the match, he who was seen on the bench of his family vomiting.
