The president of the N-VA, Valerie Van Peel, called for supporting the political parties which lead, with her own training, reforms widely disputed in the street in recent weeks.
“The parties that have the courage to implement the necessary reforms Today, with the N-VA, deserve your applause, not your hoots, ”says the successor of Bart de Wever at the head of the Flemish nationalists, in a video on social networks on the occasion of the Labor Day. She also denounces unionswhich, according to her, favor their interests through a “Summary blackmail”.
May 1 is traditionally the day of the socialists, but other parties have also claimed labor day for a few years, this is how the president of the N-VA decided to manifest herself. In her video, she evokes an “unprecedented budgetary crisis”, that it is a question of regulating now to preserve social protection, she says. “I understand that some of these decisions can arouse people’s anger or concern.
