The body of a dog attached to large stones was found this Saturday by agents of navigable channels in France, along the Burgundy canal, in Côte d’Or.
It is a horrible discovery made by agents of the navigables of France this Saturday, April 12, in Buffon, in Côte-d’Or, along the Burgundy canal.
They found the body of a dog, the legs tied up with shoe laces and the head covered by a white fabric, according to our colleagues from the public good. The animal, surely a Jack Russel, was also weighted with three large stones.
A complaint against X filed
“It had been two days that we saw a piece of blue fabric floated on the surface. When he approached the edge, we were able to recover it. It was then that we realized that there was a dog wrapped in the fabric,” said one of the agents in the local newspaper.
He says he is “shocked” by this discovery and judges “inadmissible to get rid of a dog like that”.
“Especially since he misses a piece of skin at the level of the neck, as if his chip was removed,” he noted.
The mayor of Buffon, Jean-Pierre Dzieciol hopes to find “who did this despicable thing”. “We published a photo on Facebook to launch a call for witnesses,” he explains. “It’s disgusting to see that. It really horrified me. We are dealing here with funny people,” said the local elected official.
A complaint against X was filed this Tuesday by a member of the Brigitte Bardot Foundation.
