The “Demidov Show” in an imperfect match and the series will have to wait!

The “Demidov Show” in an imperfect match and the series will have to wait!

Montreal Canadians were fortunate to secure their place in series against the Chicago Blackhawks. In a simply electric Bell center for the beginnings of Ivan Demidov, Martin St-Louis’ troop lost 4-3 in dam fire.

It was the show Ivan Demidov, but immediately launch the text with the accomplishment of Lane Hutson. By registering his 65th point with a pass on the 3rd goal of the CH, Lane Hutson exceeds the brand of 64 points established by Chris Chelios for a recruited defender.

The match will have ended in the controversy on the Bur of Frank Nazar. The first Hawks shooter had thwarted Montembeault, but the referees only awarded the goal after the 2nd shooter. The washer had remained stuck at the top of the net. It was dismay since we granted a goal after the resumption of the game. The Hawks leave with victory and the small point in overtime does not provide the series because of the equality break which could still turn to the advantage of Columbus (victories in regular time).

We must now monitor the Blue Jackets of Columbus Thursday. In the case of a defeat of the Jackets, CH will enter the playoffs. The chances of CH are still excessively good, but if Montreal loses all its matches and Columbus wins them all in regular time by the end, CH will ultimately be excluded. It would be immensely annoying considering that the percentage of chances of making the series rose to 99% last week.

Finally a good first!

For several games, Canadians have started meetings with a lot of difficulties. Signs of fatigue which, one moment, make you pay widely. This trend was broken by Ivan Demidov, who put the party in the Bell Center. To his first three presences, Demidov successively scored a pass and his first career goal. A lightning start to the match, but Demidov’s performances camouflaged many things.

Indeed, the story of the match was the execrable defensive of the Canadians. In the defensive zone, the Hawks had so much space to work, it was angry. The crowd also expressed its dissatisfaction in the 3rd period when it was 3-2 for Chicago.

Imperfect match

It will have taken Cole Caufield to match the brand and force the extension. In reality, it was a Caufield shot that died on the skull of Juraj Slafkovsky to finally find himself behind Arvid Soderblom. It took the dam fire to decide the winner. The outcome of the match leaves a bitter taste in the mouth among the supporters.

In a match where CH had the chance to confirm its place in series, is it normal that the only player having presented is a 19-year-old player? The atmosphere was fueled by the performances of Ivan Demidov, but the CH’s outfit has something to worry about. The inconstancy has a match and the annoying habit of playing catch -up hockey could cost dear in series.
