A 21 -year -old motorist died after struck a plane tree in the Tarn

A new road drama occurred on the night of April 15 to 16 on the RD 988 in the Tarn. Shortly after midnight, the driver of a Seat Ibiza who was traveling between Gaillac and Lisle-sur-Tarn struck a plane tree.

A “high kinetics” accident indicates the Tarn’s departmental fire and rescue service (SDIS 81), which specifies that the 21 -year -old victim was declared died by the SMUR doctor.

This is the second death observed since the start of the year on the RD 988, a departmental road lined with plane trees and particularly accident -causing. Last January, it was an 80-year-old driver who had lost her life after hitting a tree between Lisle-sur-Tarn and Gaillac. According to the first observations, the octogenarian had lost control of his vehicle but the speed did not seem to be involved.

This accident had occurred at the RD988 radar, about one kilometer from where five young Gaillacois had lost their lives in a appalling accident on November 17.
