Fire in a Granby CHSLD – M105 – FM 104.9

A fire occurred at CHSLD Marie-Berthe-Couture in Granby this afternoon.

This is now controlled.

As a preventive basis, all residents and residents of the affected unit were moved to other units to ensure their safety and facilitate the work of firefighters.

The CIUSSS of Estrie-Chus emergency measures is on site to coordinate actions, and a telephone call will be made to respondents of the people accommodated to inform them of developments.

The investigation is underway to find out the causes of the fire.
