Samsung’s One UI 7 (Android 15) update generates battery problems on the Galaxy S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra according to several reports.
Another hiccup for the One UI 7 update? The Samsung interface, based on Android 15, has been deployed in its stable version since early April after a big delay in startup. However, on the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus and Galaxy S23 Ultra, battery problems have been reported.
« S23 Ultra – I updated to one UI 7 today and my use of the battery seems to have increased considerably », We read in an open conversation on the official Samsung forum.
Same bell sound on Reddit where a user explains that ” The battery of [son] S23 empties very quickly after the update to one UI 7 ».
In the answers, despite some people indicating that they do not notice any problems, several Internet users share the same observation. One of them even evokes a more marked heating than before.
Another writing than the simple fact of publishing a comment on Reddit took him 2 % battery and that he can no longer last more than a day on a load as he did before.
As a reminder, the Galaxy S23 receives Samsung One Ui 7 since the end of April.
