The drama, perhaps against a background of “family conflict” according to the public prosecutor of the Cévennes capital, took place on the evening of Sunday, April 13. The respondent is “actively sought”.
We still know very little about what happened on the evening of Sunday, April 13, in the Saint-Jean meadow sector, in Alès, in the Gard. According to Abdelkrim Grini, the public prosecutor of the Cévennes capital, it could be a “Family conflict” during which a stepfather would, around 8 p.m., “violently struck the son of his partner”most certainly using a bruising object. The 18-year-old stepson would then have been reached at the head, the temple more precisely.
Transported in an emergency to the hospital, he would currently be in a state of brain. “We still know little about the substance of this case”insists the representative of the public prosecutor.
Hearing witnesses
This Monday, April 14, at the end of the morning, the defendant, who is an elderly man barely 30 years old, is “Actively sought” by the police. And, of course, an investigation is underway. In the evening of this Sunday, a procedure for attempted homicide was opened. The investigations are carried out jointly by the police officials of the Alès police station and those of the Judicial Police (PJ) of Nîmes. Hearings of witnesses have already been undertaken.
For the record, in the space of ten days, it is the fourth news item of such a nature (murder or attempted murder) which strikes Alès and its surroundings.
