She was a French teacher in a high school in Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine). He had retired after a career as a mathematics teacher in a Nantes establishment (Loire-Atlantique). Since their arbitrary incarceration by the Iranian authorities in May 2022, Cécile Kohler and Jacques Paris have lost everything from their happy past, to plunge into the horror of a Tehran prison, where they have been living locked up for three years. Going on vacation in this country is full of architectural jewels inherited from Persia, the couple had been arrested just before leaving Iran. Officially, the Islamic Republic suspected them of being French spies, which the entourage of the couple has always denied.
In a video made under constraint after six months of torture, the couple had admitted to being part of the French information, which the authorities of our country had firmly denied. In vain. Because since that day in May 2022, the 40 -year -old teacher and her 71 -year -old companion have lived a real hell in section 209 of Evin prison in Tehran. An enclosure normally reserved for political prisoners where the couple survives in unworthy conditions, without having been judged or convicted.
