René Osterwalder, sentenced to abuse and torture of children, committed suicide on April 16 in Pöschwies prison, with the help of an organization.

The abuser and torturer of children René Osterwalder died in Pöschwies prison in Regensdorf (ZH). He committed suicide with the help of an accompaniment organization in death.
The man was sentenced in 1998 to 17 years’ imprisonment and internment. He died on April 16, the Keystone-ATS department told the Canton of Zurich on Monday, thus confirming free daily newspaper 20 mini.

René Osterwalder had been interned since 1998. In 1991 and 1992, he had abused a baby and a small child and tortured them. He had also filmed his misdeeds. (Jah/ATS)
