Disturbed has already finished recording a new album, but its release date remains to be determined. Dan Donegan, guitarist of the group, spoke about it in an interview with Cameron Buchholtz de Rock 100.5 The KATT FMalso returning to the recent independence of the group and the creation of the single I Will Not Break.
A new album already ready, but still without release date
In an interview with Rock 100.5 The KATT FMDan Donegan revealed that Disturbed had finished recording an entire album last fall. However, no release date has yet been arrested, the group preferring to focus on their birthday tour celebrating 25 years of The Sickness.
“We recorded a lot of songs last fall, enough for an album, and we love them. But for the moment, we want to keep the attention on this tour. We have released I Will Not Break As an unprecedented single to support the event, but we have not yet defined a strategy for the future. ”
The group notably provides for European dates this fall, including:
- 04 Octobre – Zurich, CH – Hallenstadion
- October 12 – Paris, FR – Zénith
- October 15 – Brussels, Be – Forest National
As for 2026, nothing has yet been decided. Dan Donegan specifies: “We are thinking of getting another single before announcing the full album. Everything is still a little vague for the moment.”
A logical suite at Divisive
The next album will succeed Divisivereleased in 2022 and produced by Drew Fulk (alias Wzrd BLD) in Nashville. This disc ranked 13th in the Billboard 200 With 26,000 units sold in its first week. Disturbed already explored more direct aggressiveness, as a return to the group’s fundamentals.
With a new tour, a striking single and a ready to be unveiled album, Disturbed continues to trace its road at high speed.
