The MAM inaugurates its new face in Casablanca

The Association of Andalusian Music (AMMA) changes its name and CAP to become the MAM – The Moroccan Association of Music. A transformation that marks the widening of its field of action to all Moroccan heritage music, in all their richness and diversity. To celebrate this revival, a concert will be organized on Saturday May 17, 2025 at 8:30 p.m. at the ex-Sacré-Coeur Casablanca.

Placed under the aegis of the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, and supported by the National Lottery as well as the mineral waters of Oulmès, this evening promises to be a vibrant tribute to the plurality of Moroccan musical heritage.

The will honor two large figures of the national music scene: in the part, Haj Mohamed Bajeddoub, a living monument of the Andalusian repertoire, will perform alongside the Amine Debbi orchestra of Andalusian music.

In the second part, place for the energy and poetry of the mythical group Nass El Ghiwane, whose influence on several generations remains unequaled.

This structural development aims to create a of convergence for artists, researchers, institutions and audiences, in an inclusive, innovative logic and to the international.
