A promising harvest of Nèfles in Zegzel thanks to the abundant rains – Agrimaroc.ma

The Néflier promises to be particularly successful this year in the rural commune of Zegzel, under the of Berkane. The significant precipitation recorded in the region had a direct impact on the quality and volume of the harvest.

“This year is , since the rains arrived at the very moment when the Néflier needs water to give a large fruit and in large volume,” says Benyounis Belkacemi, local farmer, in a declaration to the site Le360.

In addition to this favorable rainfall, several natural factors explain the success of this culture in the region. The surrounding mountains protect the trees from the winds while ensuring a suitable cool climate.
