The Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour, and the president of the Jordanian Senate, Faysal Akef Al Fayez, discussed, on Wednesday in Rabat, the need to boost bilateral exchanges and develop new investment opportunities in strategic sectors, including manufacturing industry and advanced technologies.
This meeting allowed the two officials to highlight the importance of strengthening industrial and commercial exchanges between Rabat and Amman, with a view to creating value added and mutually beneficial economic development.
In a statement to the press, Mr. Al-Fayez praised the economic reforms initiated by Morocco, expressing the hope of seeing bilateral relations register in a renewed dynamic, based on complementarity and mutual interest.
He also reaffirmed Jordan’s desire to strengthen his economic ties with Morocco, by exploring the promising perspectives of investment and export offered by the region.

For his part, Mr. Mezzour highlighted the importance of parliamentary dialogue as a lever for supporting economic cooperation efforts, welcoming initiatives aimed at supporting businesses and enhancing human capital in both countries.
MM. Mezzour and Al Fayez also insisted on the firming of cooperation between the two kingdoms, calling for increased mobilization of economic operators in order to stimulate investment in the Moroccan and Jordanian markets.
