Blangy-sur-Bresle puts the brushes back in the heart of the city with its outdoor painting competition

Blangy-sur-Bresle is about to welcome a new edition of its concours artistic “painters in the city”, an animation now well rooted in local life. Organized by the municipality on Saturday May 3, this event will honor the pictorial outdoor creation, at the very heart of the Blangeois urban heritage.

Open to all artists from 7 ansamateurs as confirmed, the competition will take place in the streets of the town. Two categories are planned: adults and children (7–14 years)

Creation on site and respect for the theme

On the day of the competition, the registrations will be Between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. in the town hall of the city, Daliphard Street. Each participant will choose a location in the city to carry out their original work, on the spot, with the technique of their choice (excluding photographic processes). The hanging of the works will be carried out at glass museumof the 16h45.

A non -professional jury to decide between artists

Of the 17ha jury made up of five members will evaluate works according to specific criteria: compliance with the imposed theme, treatment of light and colors, quality of drawing, technical mastery and creativity. The awards ceremony will take place from 17h30with attractive rewards for adults (Cadhoc checks up to € 300) and lots of painting for the youngest.
