The Pif Global Series, a new showcase of the female golf course, illustrates the will of the Saudi sovereign fund to establish itself as a key player in world golf course after having already upset the male landscape with the Liv Golf.
Saudi golf and the Public Investment Fund (PIF) Saudi announced today the appointment of the PIF as a title partner of a world series altered from five female golf tournaments on the Ladies European Tour (LET). This partnership is strengthening the long -term commitment of the Saudi state in favor of the female golft, since the national oil company of Saudi Arabia, Aramcoalready sponsored tournaments.
A new dimension for the let
The PIF Global Series Now offers five steps on three continents:
- PIF Saudi Ladies International: Riyadh Golf Club, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (February 12-15, 2025)
- Aramco Korea Championship: New Korea Country Club, Seoul, South Korea (May 9-11, 2025)
- PIF Championship: Centurion Club, London, United Kingdom (August 8-10, 2025)
- Aramco Houston Championship: TBC, Houston, United States (5-7 September 2025)
- Aramco Shenzhen Championship: Mission Hills, Shenzhen, Chine (6-8 novembre 2025)
Each of these competitions offers an endowment of $ 2 million, twice the previous editions, while the PIF Saudi Ladies Internationaldisputed in February, retains an exceptional “prize money” of $ 5 million. The format also evolves: each tournament combines an individual competition and a team test of four pros, without amateurs, to guarantee maximum intensity and open the field to more players.
