The Golf of Quéven welcomed, Sunday April 13, 2025, the 10th edition of the Green of Hope, a competition under the sign of solidarity, for the benefit of the association Vaincre la Mucoviscidosis. The event, organized by the volunteers of the Association Vainment La Mucoviscidosis of the Pays de Lorient with the Association Sportive du Golf de Quéven, gathered 55 participants, who came to combine passion for golf and commitment for a cause that touches them, because one of the members of the club is reached by the disease.
Thanks to game duties and the precious support of partners, € 4,000 were collected during the day. “It is a pleasure to see this momentum of solidarity around Dorian, for ten years, even if the participation has been lower this year, because we usually welcome a hundred competitors, probably the effect of a weekend in the middle of the school holidays,” says Maguelone Paturle, volunteer and organizer of the publishing.
The Green of Hope, organized in many clubs in France, has contributed for more than 20 years to promote this genetic disease and to support the association Vaincre la Mucoviscidose, which celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2025.
