The new ATT audiovisual landscape is gradually revealed. After the eviction of C8 and NRJ12 by Arcom, new actors will soon issue on the reassigned channels. From September 1, viewers will be able to discover a new channel, that of the Ouest-France group, which unveiled its official name on Monday April 14, in a press release: Novo19.
The one who made himself known so far as the “OFTV” working name therefore has a visual identity with this name, accompanied by an imposing purple mail logo to which the figure is attached by exhibiting.
This logo is responsible for symbolism, explains Ouest-France in the press release.
“A link between ‘we’ and ‘you’, the 0 of the open sea and the recall of the iconic cockade of Ouest-France.”
Thought as a “media of territories”, the Novo19 channel was conceived as an extension of the newspaper, with formats “anchored in the territories”, as explained to BFM Business Guénaëlle Troly, Director General of the chain, in October. She evoked an “intelligent, positive, unifying and citizen channel”.
To fill out a daily grid, she evoked very varied programs: “We will find documentary, magazines, information, fiction, entertainment …”
New numbering
Before the arrival of this new chain, the TNT will be turned upside down on June 1 by setting up a new numbering. The public service will have a block of four channels, from 2 to 5 (France 4 replaces Canal+ which leaves TNT to protest against the exclusion of C8). A block of information chains is also created, from 13 to 16 (BFMTV, which belongs as BFM Business to the RMC-BFM group) will be accessible on Canal 13 from June 1).
The two incoming news will occupy the channels 18 and 19. This is T18, (formerly real TV) launched by the billionaire Daniel Kretinsky, and therefore Novo19. The first will issue earlier than the second since its launch is scheduled for June 6. On the other hand, Novo19 will display a black screen for three additional months.
