Ford Motor Co. (NYSE: F) would apparently increase the selling prices of some of the vehicles of the company produced in Mexico.
What happened : Ford model prices such as Mustang Mach-E, Bronco Sport, as well as the Maverick pick-up could increase by $ 2,000, Reuters reported on Wednesday.
The report suggests that the increase would apply to models produced after May 2, which, according to a spokesperson for Ford in the report, could arrive at dealerships in June. The spokesman also stressed that these increases are among the usual pricing actions of the company.
However, it has been reiterated that customers will not have to bear all of the tariff costs currently a source of uncertainty in the automotive industry. “We have not passed on the total cost of customs duties on our customers,” said the spokesperson.
