The terrible drama was formed this Tuesday in Béziers. An investigation was opened to shed light on the circumstances of the death.

A 13-year-old student was discovered dead in his room, in the afternoon of this Tuesday, May 6 in Béziers (Hérault). He was educated at La Dullague college and would have ended his life. He would have hanged himself, according to information from Midi Libre.

“At this stage, the public prosecutor Raphaël Balland only confirms the discovery of the adolescent’s body,” said our colleagues, to whom the magistrate said that a investigation in search of the causes of death was opened.

“It was with great emotion that I learned this terrible news,” said Tuesday evening in a press release Carole Drucker-Godard, the rector of the Montpellier Academy. Adding: “On my personal name and on behalf of all the staff of the Montpellier Academy, I send my most sincere condolences to the family and relatives of this student.”

A listening unit will be set up on Wednesday within the establishment, the press release said.
