Consent is an essential value to transmit from an early age. To educate families about this fundamental theme, a special day will be organized on Sunday April 20, at the Distillery Hall. Parents and children will be able to participate in fun and instructive workshops intended to better understand the importance of respecting everyone’s limits within the home.
A dialogue space
This initiative, carried by the speakers of the association Les Hands Sages, based in the heart of Hérault since 2005, aims to create a space of benevolent dialogue where young and old can exchange and practice around this sometimes delicate subject. On the program: a time of exchange and discussions for parents, creative activities, workshops and games for the whole family, allowing to approach consent positively. Among the activities: family massage with Sivan Cieutat, Parent-Child Yoga with Limor Sneh, the singer baby with Céline Gohier.
“Learning to say no and hearing the non of others is essential to build healthy family relationships “, explains one of the organizers. Participants will discover concrete tools to establish a culture of consent in their daily lives, whether for a hug, a game, the sharing of personal objects or respect for intimacy.
