The accident took place shortly before 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15 south of Sarlat, on the departmental 703 which links the Roque Gageac and Vitrac. Two light vehicles have violently collided front between the Cénac bridge, just before the entrance to the village of Vitrac.
A dozen firefighters and four intervention vehicles were mobilized. The driver of one of the two vehicles, a woman aged sixties, did not survive the shock.
The D 703 had to be completely cut to traffic to allow rescue intervention.
