The Dutchman Mathieu Van der Poel entered the history of Paris-Roubaix after an epic race.
For his first Paris-Roubaix, Tadej Pogaçar hosted the race but he was pushed to the fault by the Roublard that is already Mathieu Van der Poel on the roads of the North.
In a harmless turn, the Slovenian, however not cut for this type of race, was in the lead but he went to the fault. And in Paris-Roubaix and its thirty paved sectors, a foot on the ground almost never catches up. Pogaçar had the bitter experience this Sunday and he had to resolve to watch Van der Poel File picking his 3rd Paris-Roubaix consecutive.

Even a puncture in the crossroads of the tree, the final trap of the event, did not prevent Van der Poel from triumphing again in the Roubaix Velodrome where only two other runners, since 1896, have imposed themselves three times consecutively: French Octave Lapize between 1909 and 1911 and the Italian Francesco Moser between 1978 and 1980.
And yet, Pogaçar tried to place his terrible attacks practically throughout the race. But Van der Poel resisted everything, even a can that a spectator threw him in his head after the fall of Pogaçar.
The race was not over that the image had already toured the world. It was more necessary to make the grandson of Raymond Poulidor vacillate, this Sunday, in Paris-Roubaix, its queen event.
Pogaçar, which was not said to be formatted for this too physically demanding race, was, once again, stunning and took second place in the race.
It was at the sprint that Pedersen took third place to complete an XXL podium.
