Éric Olewsski, the president of the Vélo Club Alesien, an association organizing the 2025 edition of the mining circuit, was satisfied this Sunday, May 4, in the early afternoon, to see so many runners at the start of the race, at the mechanical pole, with regard to capricious climatic conditions. They were, in fact, 71 divided into two groups: 43 for categories 1, 2, 3 and juniors, and 28 for categories 4, 5 and .

A course of about 77 kilometers

All set off, with five minutes apart between the two groups formed, at 2 p.m., on a route of a little more than 77 kilometers, passing through Saint-Julien-les-Rosiers, where the real departure was given to the exit of the town, the Magi, Saint-Florent-sur-auzonnet, the cols of Brosses, the Valley of the Cèze, the Col de Trélis and the Martinet. Then, the runners returned to Saint-Florent-sur-Auzonnet, with a view to a second loop Col des Brosses-Col de Trélis, followed by a passage to the Martinet, before going to the Affnadou, the Pradel and the Côte de Mercoirol, to cross Saint--de-Valgalgues and, finally, return to the mechanical pole, where the finish was.

Winners and a mountain prize

The runner to have crossed her, around 4:20 p.m., is Quewen Féral, from the club “We let go of nothing”; It comes from the first group. The of the second group is Cédric Gentil, member of the club “Les Boucles Roviéroises”. A mountain price was also disputed. He was won by Adrien Bernard, in the first group; and by Jérôme Wyszynski, in the second group. Both are part of the “Teyran Bike” club.
