Since 2021, Elsa Bois has been one of the emblematic dancer of the program “Dance with the stars”, broadcast on TF1. The attachment of the public was all the stronger since, during her first season, the young woman fell in love with her partner, the Youtubeur Michou. The romance lasted three years but finally ended at the start of 2025.
At the time of the announcement of their separation, the videographer had spoke on Twitch, saying that “it is a separation all that is simpler and classic […]. Nothing serious but our relationship has had its time. ” Rumors of infidelity had not long had to flower on social networks, leading to a wave of harassment against Elsa Bois who, for his part, had preferred to remain silent.

This April 12, the dancer finally confided in the program “50 ‘inside”, broadcast on TF1. While she trains alongside ex-singer Florent Manaudou in an attempt to win the 14th season of “Dance with the stars”, the 24-year-old woman gave an interview to Isabelle Ithurburu in rehearsal studios, returning to the harmful effects of her notoriety.

“Everyone is starting to have an opinion on my life, on my work, and that’s what I like too. Positive or negative, it helps me build myself. But it is true that when it starts to touch personal life it is more difficult because suddenly it feels like being judged on our value as a person. Explained Elsa Bois.
The dancer then confirmed that the comments had been particularly violent in recent months, following the announcement of her breakup with Michou and that some have interpreted as a rapprochement with Florent Manaudou: “In fact there have been a lot that happened all at once and … it is a little scary”.

Regarding the messages of hatred received, Elsa Bois says that “I think we can talk about harassment but I think people do not necessarily realize. They say to themselves that it is a message but in fact when it is one, two, three, four, a hundred, a thousand, it takes a lot of proportions. ”
This surge of negative messages – to the point that TF1 had to deactivate the comments under some of her performances on Instagram – pushed the young woman to have painful thoughts: “We tend to question herself and say” is I someone bad? ‘”.
Although she continues to receive certain hateful comments, Elsa Bois is now trying to take the situation with philosophy, recalling that “necessarily someone who screams and who is not happy will make more noise than five people who will send love so we try to focus on the positive and dismiss the negative”.
