[VIDÉO] Guy Nantel had joked about becoming the 51st American state in 2008

While Donald Trump keeps saying how much he would like Canada to become the 51st American state, Guy Nantel joked on the same subject 17 years ago. In a video of the show Parliamentworkwe see the humorist making almost prophetic remarks.

Fourteen years after the first Parliamentarythe legendary political spectacle had returned from 2008 to 2010, with Pierre Légaré, Daniel Lemire and Yvon Deschamps among false politicians.

In the skin of the deputy of Saint-Jean-de-Dieu-Hérouxville, in the opposition party, Guy Nantel had first said it was disgusted to “pay tax without ever having a service accordingly”.
