A man who suffered injuries after being violently beaten up by three individuals in the street on Sunday noon, refuses to file a complaint against his attackers.
The event occurred around 12 noon near the residence for Elder Pavilion Sekoïa, on rue Fortier, in Lévis.
Three individuals would have attacked a man, causing him assault, according to the spokesperson for the police service in the city of Lévis (SPVL), François Gagnon.
According to our information, the victim has even been strangled and put a cloth filled with bleach in the mouth, in addition to being rolled with the body and head.
The latter returned home and called on the ambulance services a few hours later. He was transported to the hospital center to deal with significant injuries.
No complaint
The attacked man must be met by SPVL investigators during the day, if his health allows.
But for the moment, the latter has refused to give his version of the facts and collaborate with the police.
“He did not want to file a complaint for the moment,” explains Mr. Gagnon.
The authorities therefore have not arisen so far, given the circumstances.
The event could be linked to the war for controlling drugs that have opposed several criminal groups in the region for several months.
