Traffic interrupted for three hours on the A64: after an accident, a 2 -year -old child evacuated by helicopter

A traffic accident , around 5 p.m. on on the A64 after the Capvern exchanger in the Toulouse-Bayonne direction to the 170 point. The driver of a utility vehicle towing a caravan that was committed to the highway towards Bayonne lost control. The whole made up of the van and the caravan came out of the road. In shock, the caravan was completely dislocated.

Immediately the given, the firefighters and a team from the SMUR intervened to rescue the occupants of the vehicle. A 2 -year -old girl was injured. She was taken care of by a SMUR team. The child was to be evacuated to a Toulouse hospital center aboard the Smur 31 helicopter.

A woman and a 2 year old baby evacuated
