Mediapart reveals that the 72 -year -old politician is involved in a tax fraud case. He would appear in a list of customers of a car dealer, arrested on March 18 in Draguignan (VAR) then indicted in a survey on a high -end vehicle purchase system, which passed through the Principality of Andorra in order to bypass ecological penalties – which can climb up to 70,000 euros for the most powerful and polluting models – and taxes, including VAT. This concessionaire is suspected of money laundering and false fraud.
The businessman offered his customers (among whom would therefore appear Philippe Douste-Blazy) to buy sedans via two Andorra companies. Cars registered in the Principality, with loan or complacency rental contracts established between Andorranes companies and the owners of the sedans in France. Then, according to Mediapart, the cars were put into circulation on French territory, provided on behalf of the owner.

The investigation media reveals that the politician – support from Emmanuel Macron since 2017 – would have first acquired a first Porsche, a Type 991 Turbo convertible, worth 151,666 euros, early 2021, whose purchase in Andorra would have saved, according to Mediapart, more than 23,000 euros compared to a purchase in France, a figure to which must be added several thousand euros of ecological.
