This is my prediction: the scarecrow Donald Trump will not forever keep the Liberal brand alive. In a few years or months, it is a seasoned and Assagi hairy that will eventually take power in Ottawa.
Last Monday, the conservative vote around or exceeded that of the time of the Stephen Harper or Brian Mulroney in the majority.
Even the students voted more for the conservatives than for the party of Mark Carney … which is, I believe, a historic first.
Pierre Poilievre does not have to be ashamed of his defeat … And I hope he will set the course to a decentralized Canada respectful of the provincial jurisdictions … while surrounding himself more of an inspiring team instead of playing lonesome cowboy to the John Wayne.
‘Balouna’
Sooner or later, and probably sooner than late, Mark Carney’s “Baloune” will deflate in Quebec and elsewhere in the rest of Canada.
The Quebec Pumpkin Heads who voted for the Liberals of Mark Carney, who is as Trudeau as Trudeau, thinking that the latter will protect us against the United States, do not understand the ABC of politics.
While Donald Trump will hurt Quebec’s economy with his prices, Mark Carney and his band of “followers” will hurt the identity of Quebec by attacking linguistic laws and religious neutrality.
Bourassa’s dream
My suggestion to Pierre Hairy: Continue to let Quebecers know that, unlike the Liberals, his training can speak of realizing the dream of Robert Bourassa of cultural sovereignty.
During his purgatory before taking power, Pierre Hairy can take advantage of it to assemble a team that will be visible and which will inspire confidence.
Finally, I repeat: Carney will only pass. Hairyvre is the future Prime Minister of Canada.
