At the Lyon ball, the brother and sister Lise and Léo Calmels are thus sacred regional champions in rapid shooting in Rieumes.
Recently in Rieumes (Haute-Garonne), the Lyonnais Boules Rapid Boules for young U11 to U18 ballists took place. And once again, the Fénassole ball was represented by five young people from her school: Clara and Gabriel DELFRANDRE, Lois Teysseyre, Lise and Léo Calmels. Each made three quick -fire passages. This shot consists in making the maximum of balls between two and five minutes depending on the categories. A practice that requires precision and speed.
The two best passages allowed Calmels to qualify in the final. The young U11 Lise Calmels has made her best scores of the season and thus won the title of regional champion in her category.
As for his brother Léo, U15, he ranked champion of the Occitanie region in his category with two balls apart against his opponent. Their supervisors, President Églantine Tuitete and Philippe Raynaud, vice-president and educator of young people, as well as Patrick Mas, physical trainer, are very proud of all the young people who have all given the best of themselves.
And it’s not over, because the season continues with the next U11-U13 youth club finals which will take place on May 25, as well as the regional qualifications in single on May 18 and double on June 15 for the U15-U18.
Adults are proud of their ballists and encourage their seeds of champions to continue on this path. Let us recall that last February, at the regional precision championship four juniors had distinguished themselves, in U13: Chloé Payrastre, champion of Occitanie and Gabriel Delfrandre, bronze medal. In U18, Théo Payrastre had won the title of vice-champion of Occitanie. And already the young Lise Calmels had been sacred vice-champion of Occitania.
