Nominations at the Orange Executive Committee

Orange today announces developments within the group’s executive committee.

Jérôme Héniquecurrent executive director, CEO of Orange Africa and Middle East, is appointed executive director, CEO of Orange France from June 1, 2025. He will remain a member of the group’s executive committee and attached to Christel Heydemann, Managing Director of the Orange group.
He will also join the Board of Directors of Orange Middle East & Africa (Orange MEA) on the same .

Jérôme Hénique will succeed Jean-François Fallacher who decided to take up responsibilities outside the Orange group by joining Eutelsat Group from which he has just been appointed CEO.

Yasser Shakercurrent CEO of Orange Egypt, is appointed Executive Director, CEO of Orange Africa and Middle East from July 1, 2025, in agreement with the Board of Directors of Orange Mea. He will join the Orange group’s executive committee and report to Christel Heydemann.

Christel Heydemann, Managing Director of the Orange group, said: “I want to salute Jean-François Fallacher for his flawless commitment throughout his career in Orange. And more recently for the essential role he had in the creation of Masorange and the implementation of the strategy of the Lead The Future plan in France. Biographies

Jérôme Hénique is Executive Director, CEO of Orange Africa and Middle East (OMEA) since July 1, 2022.
He began his career as a consultant. Then he notably held the positions of marketing director in , director of the residential in France and then Orange Group Marketing Director.
It was in 2010 that he began his career in Africa and Middle East as Deputy Managing Director of the Sonatel group. In 2015, he took over the management of Orange . Then, in 2022, Jérôme Hénique was appointed Managing Director of Orange Africa and Middle East who represents 18 countries and more than 135 million customers. Since 2023, Orange Middle East & Africa has greatly contributed to the results of the Orange group with two -digit growth in turnover and its Ebitdaal.
Jérôme Hénique graduated from the National School of Posts and Telecommunications in Paris and Sciences Po Paris.

Yasser Shaker is CEO of Orange Egypt since May 1, 2018.
He began his career in the field of satellites and has played a key role in the technology sector for over 25 years.
Under his direction, Orange Egypt has reached record levels of growth and profitability, despite a difficult macroeconomic context.
Before joining Orange Egypt, Yasser Shaker held the Middle East and Africa Orange CTIO post.
Yasser Shaker is a member of the board of directors of several universities and organizations, where he actively works to strengthen the employability of people.
Telecommunications engineer graduated from the University of Cairo engineering faculty, Yasser Shaker also holds an MBA from the Rennes Higher School of Business.
