Access to authentic databases/sources is essential for Walloon cities and municipalities.
UVCW, with the CARREFOUR Data Exchange Bank, works there. Here are two information about data from the Banque-Carrefour des Entreprises.
- Call for candidates for the creation of a working group in order to allow cities and municipalities to access data from the Carrefour Bank of Business
Context and objective
To carry out their many missions and exercise their various skills, cities and municipalities need to access the data from the Business Bank of Business (ECB).
Currently, each entity must submit a specific request to the SPF Economy to obtain this data. In order to facilitate this approach, our association, in collaboration with the Bank Carrefour d’Echange de Data (BCED), wishes to develop a standardized form which would cover as much needs and generic purposes of the municipalities.
Our approach aims to create a single form of request for access to ECB data allowing cities and municipalities to access this information essential to their operation more effectively.
Creation of a working group
To achieve this objective, we want to constitute a working group made up of municipal representatives who will help us to identify precisely and, in principle:
- BCE data types necessary for municipalities;
- The various purposes/missions justifying the use of this data.
Who are we looking for?
We want to collaborate with people who:
- have a good knowledge of municipal activities requiring access to ECB data;
- can detail the specific missions and the data required for each of them;
- are available to participate in one or two working workshops of approximately 2 hours via Teams during the year 2025;
- wish to contribute to the development of a framework document by sharing their experiences and knowledge on the use of data undertaken by the municipalities.
Collaboration
We will organize one or two participative distant workshops aimed at collecting the necessary information so that UVCW and the BCED design a standardized form which will then be offered to the SPF Economy for validation.
Want to participate?
If this initiative interests you or interests one of your agents, Please fill out the available form ici.
The practical information concerning the workshops will be sent later to the selected persons.
Thank you for your contribution to this project!
- Access to the data of the ECB by the municipalities within the framework of the unique environment/ permit permits: a form to be completed and signed
Regardless of the preparation of a request for general access to the ECB data, if a municipality wishes to access the data of the ECB as part of the management of environment and unique permit, a request form is already available ici.
If the municipality already reaches the public data of the ECB in this context, it is advisable to regularize through this same form, the SPF Economy now obliging to submit a request for access in the right and due form.
Each municipality wishing to access the ECB data in the context of environmental, town planning and unique permits must supplement and sign this form, already pre-completed at the level of useful data, purposes and bases, and return it to the ECB according to the indications mentioned on page 7.
Once the deliberation was received from the ECB, the municipality must send it to the BCED via the address [email protected] in order to access this data or regularize its situation.
