This year, the village festival of Bou will take place, as tradition wants to be closer to Saint-Georges on April 27. In addition to the large garage sale and the “book market” which will be offered all day Sunday, in the streets and on the place of the town, the cultural dimension is never forgotten in this town. Thus, from Saturday, 2 p.m., artistic meetings will welcome, in the village hall, four sculptors and painters: Véronique Bacquet, Jérôme Bidi-Lecadouq, Françoise Gaillot Martine Peschard. In the small room, also 8 rue du Puits de l’Orme, we can admire the work of the students of the municipal school. In addition, on Sunday 27, a “small animal book fair” will be held there. Guy Janvrot, Geneviève Duval, Philippe Debré and Christian Chenault, four authors and photographers await you to sign and talk about their works. Behind the village hall, the members of Boudouill’ART reserve an exhibition of which they have the secret to us. Of course, a merry -go -round will be present in the square, for children. Finally, no problem for those who wish to eat or quench their thirst: between local merchants and the UBOF (Boumienne Union for the Organization of the Festivals) everything is planned!
