The teaching league 22 is organizing on Wednesday May 14, in partnership with the André-Malraux library in Saint-Brieuc, a literary and cultural exchange, an event entitled “Books Sans Frontière”. Claire Martinod, in charge of European projects, resuits this action “within the framework of the Fête de l’Europe, which makes it possible to tighten the links between young people from different countries”.
The choices of Alexandra and Sirine
This year, Tunisia is also a partner country. At the library, young readers of different nationalities will present their favorites to participants. These reading enthusiasts will defend their choice and a vote will designate the most convincing. For example, in Saint-Brieuc, Alexandra, German, will present “Pünktchen und Anton” by Erich Kästner. “The novel evokes the disparity of the living conditions of two children and their friendship, despite this gap. Sirine, for her part, will put forward “Le Jour is gone” by Raja Bousetta, a book that evokes “nostalgia for the Tunisian family and intimacy between women”.
