Eastman: Launch of the 15th edition of a book, a village with Robert Lalonde – M105 – FM 104.9

About fifty people were gathered yesterday (Sunday) in Eastman for the launch of the 15th edition of a book, a village.

The event took place in the presence of the writer and actor Robert Lalonde, special guest of this edition.
During this meeting, Mr. Lalonde addressed reading in all his forms: Reading a book like a reader, reading a character as an actor, and reading the world as a writer.

This year, the Eastmanois and Eastmanoises will be able to discover Petite-Ville, by Mélikah Abdelmoumen.
This thriller, paints the portrait of districts undermined by exclusion, injustice and social inequalities.

Each year, around fifty copies of the selected book are made available to the population of Eastman,

Citizens are invited to read the work and write their names on the planned file affixed to it before sharing it with another person.

The event will end with a meeting with the author, on November 16, 2025, at the Saint-Édouard complex.
